The main mission of Doctors Without Borders foundation is to help people in need, victims of natural or man-made disasters and armed conflicts. Associates of Doctors Without Borders are active in more than 70 countries around the world, where they provide health care, perform surgical operations on wounded, treat malnourished children and patients affected by infectious or neglected diseases, handle vaccination campaigns, provide maternity and childbirth care, psychological help to victims of violence and finally, train local staff to be able to perform the above activities.
